'Every action has an equal and opposite reaction', the famous third law of Newton is now getting defined by Kollywood as Newtonin Moondram Vidhi. As the title suggests, Newton's most famous law is the underlying principle of this movie. It is about how a simple, ordinary man hits back when he is pushed to the brink; about how a cornered reacts. It is the basic mentality of man, to Newtonin Moondram Vidhi throw everything into an effort when one knows very well that there is nothing to lose. That is what we will be seeing in this S.J. Suryah starrer. For around five years now, since the release of New, we have known S.J. Suryah as the on-screen playboy. But this time, we will be seeing him as just a normal man who turns into a hero during crisis. It is a 'cometh the hour, cometh the man' kind of thing. Along with S.J. Suryah there will be Bollywood import Sayali Bhagath making her Tamil debut. Rajeev Krishna, the hero from Aaha, plays the villain and a very stylish one at that. The positive aspect in Newtonin Moondram Vidhi is its narration and pace. The whole story is set in a time frame of just two hours or so and consequently the screenplay should be pretty tight and frantic. In this short span, S.J. Suryah will be seen in two different get-ups and there are promises of some frenetic action. Fights have been directed by Prakash. They have been done stylishly without the usual gravity defying gimmicks; they will be raw and realistic. It is not just the fights that will be realistic; the screenplay has not got any unnecessary deviations or subplots. The focus will only be in one direction right from the word go. In such a movie, it might be difficult to find space for songs, but there are a few of them. Shot mostly in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, it will be interesting to see how the director has used them in the tight narrative. Camera has been handled by Ravi. Director Thai Muthuchelvan must be lauded for going for something unconventional - the subject does look out of the ordinary. This takes us back to the 2008 release Akku, which too had a story taking place within a time frame of hours, it was an interesting watch. Let's hope that this interpretation of Newton's Third Law finds favor amongst the audiences.
